I understand real change in a way you can hardly imagine — from marching on Washington for Civil Rights and Women’s Rights, I’ve done and seen more than most and I understand the plight of the disenfranchised person in America.

My age also gives me a view of history and how and when to make the move. The atmosphere has to be right and it is NOT right at this time.

The instability brought to us, courtesy of 4 years of that Jack-Ass in the WH has manifestly destroyed our underpinnings as a country and made a mockery out of the Constitution. With so many Rethuglicans ready to lie down and roll over for Trump (70+ Million in this election alone), the time is not ripe for the kind of change you want.

In order for change to take effect and be demonstrably effective, BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE have to be in on the change. That is the way it happened in the 60s and 70s and that is the way it will need to happen in the 2021 and beyond years to make it work. You don’t need all people to agree on everything, but you need a majority from both sides to agree that changes are needed.

Thanks to Trumpism and these last four years, you have 70 Million people who think everything is great as is, and while that is most unfortunate, they will be the people stopping BIG changes at every stage of the game.

When they finally wake up and see that Trump is all smoke and mirrors and the Republican party is not their friend, THEN maybe we can get some real change, but right now — don’t count on this unless you want to hand the WH and the mid-terms back to the GOP.
